This Policy describes the processing of personal data related to eubrasileiro.com. The data controller is Frontiers Group Entertainment Ltda, a company registered in Brazil under CNPJ number 41.095.832/0001-16. Processing follows applicable Brazilian law, including Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD), the Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet, and, where applicable, the Digital Statute for Children and Adolescents.
1. Current website structure
Public browsing does not require registration. The website uses technical sessions, first-party metrics, a recent-viewing history saved on the device, and, in some hubs, numerical ratings. Public accounts, comments, and forums are disabled in this version, so these features do not accept new reader profiles or text submissions.
2. Data that may be processed
- Technical and security data: IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser, system, user agent, referring page, response code, and records needed for operation, diagnosis, and abuse prevention.
- First-party editorial metrics: page views, clicks, scroll depth, searches with no results, page path, and pseudonymous identifiers used to distinguish interactions and reduce repeated counts.
- Ratings: the rated work, the score, the date, and an identifier derived from the IP address and the work, used to limit ratings by origin and allow an existing rating to be updated.
- Preferences stored on the device: up to 12 recently viewed items, including title, URL, image, and time of visit, stored only in the browser.
- Voluntary communications: data that users choose to submit through the external Frontiers Group Entertainment form or another stated channel.
- Administrative access: email address, hashed password, session information, authentication attempts, IP address, and audit records of authorized users. The administrative area does not offer public registration.
3. Cookies and local storage
EUBRSESSID: a strictly necessary session cookie used for security, protection against unauthorized requests, feedback messages, and interactive features. It expires at the end of the browser session.ebr_visitor: a first-party metrics cookie containing a random identifier and lasting no more than 395 days. The server stores a derived version of this identifier in daily counts rather than the cookie's original value.ebr_recent_content_v1: a browser local-storage record containing up to 12 recent pages. The continuity feature does not send it to the server, and it remains until it is deleted by the user, the browser, or the clear-history button provided on the website.
Users can block or delete cookies and local storage in their browser settings. Blocking the session cookie may prevent ratings and other features that depend on protection against unauthorized requests; public pages remain available for reading.
4. First-party metrics and ratings
First-party metrics help count visits, understand which content and features are used, correct navigation problems, and organize editorial highlights. Click, scroll, and search events are sent to the website's own domain and associated with a pseudonymous identifier. Eu, Brasileiro does not use this data to create behavioral advertising or sell reader profiles.
Ratings store the score and a hash derived from the IP address to reduce repeated votes. Hashing and pseudonymization reduce direct exposure, but do not necessarily make the information anonymous; these records therefore remain subject to the safeguards in this Policy.
5. Purposes and legal bases for processing
Technical data, sessions, and security records are processed to deliver and protect the service, prevent fraud and abuse, diagnose failures, and exercise rights. First-party metrics and ratings are processed to measure use of the catalog, preserve the integrity of counts, and improve editorial organization. Depending on the operation, the legal bases may include the controller's legitimate interests, compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation, the regular exercise of rights, and consent where required. Legitimate interests must cover only necessary data, with transparency and respect for the data subject's rights and expectations.
6. Third-party services
The footer loads a Steam widget. Pages containing videos may request thumbnails from YouTube's servers; the player hosted by YouTube opens only after user interaction. Links to social networks, stores, and external sources are governed by the rules of the service being accessed. These providers may receive the IP address, browser data, referring page, and other technical information, and may use their own cookies under their respective policies.
Google Analytics is not enabled in the current configuration. The website code loads that tool only when a valid identifier has been configured. If it is enabled in the future, this Policy and the applicable controls will be updated before collection begins.
7. Sharing and international transfers
To the extent necessary, data may be processed by hosting, infrastructure, security, and communications providers. Steam, YouTube, and other external services may process data in other countries when their resources are loaded or used. Data may also be shared when required by law, by a valid order from a competent authority, or to protect rights. Eu, Brasileiro does not sell personal databases or provide reader profiles for behavioral advertising.
8. Retention
The session cookie expires at the end of the session, and ebr_visitor may remain for up to 395 days. Visitor identifiers associated with daily counts are removed by the metrics routine after 120 days, while aggregate totals may remain without the individual identifier. Recent-content history remains only in the browser until it is deleted.
Rating records may be retained while the feature and the work remain available because they preserve the integrity of the average and vote limits. Interaction events, technical records, administrative data, and communications are retained for the period necessary for their respective purposes, security, investigation of abuse, and exercise of rights, and are deleted or anonymized when they are no longer needed. Access records may be retained for the applicable statutory period, including the period established by the Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet when its requirements apply.
9. Security
We adopt technical and organizational measures proportionate to risk to reduce unauthorized access, loss, alteration, and improper disclosure. No service connected to the internet, however, can provide an absolute guarantee against incidents.
10. Data-subject rights
Under Brazil's LGPD, data subjects may request, where applicable, confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or improperly processed data, portability, information about sharing, review of automated decisions, and withdrawal of consent. They may also object to processing performed without consent when the law has not been followed and may petition Brazil's National Data Protection Authority. The requester's identity may be verified proportionately before a request is fulfilled, and any inability to take the requested action will be explained.
11. Children and adolescents
The website provides general-audience editorial content and may foreseeably be accessed by children and adolescents. It therefore seeks to limit collection, does not provide public accounts, user-to-user messaging, or its own behavioral advertising in this version, and keeps comments and forums disabled. Processing data relating to this audience must consider their best interests and the highest level of protection compatible with the purpose of the service.
Parents and legal guardians may use browser or system controls to limit cookies, local storage, and access to content. If you suspect improper data processing or content that violates the rights of a child or adolescent, submit the URL and a description of the issue through the channel below for review.
12. Contact and requests
Requests concerning personal data may be submitted through the Frontiers Group Entertainment contact form. Please state that the request concerns Eu, Brasileiro and describe it clearly. This channel receives data-subject requests and communications addressed to the controller.
13. Updates to this Policy
This Policy may be updated when the website, its providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and its update date will always be available on this page.
