Rockstar Games is known for making major investments in its titles, such as GTA V, which cost more than US$200 million to develop alone. If we are talking about the actors hired for Red Dead Redemption 2, the situation does not seem different.
According to the British newspaper The Telegraph, the game's producer, Rockstar Games, considers Red Dead Redemption 2 its most ambitious title to date. The amount invested in the game has not yet been revealed, but some statements show that it was not small and may even exceed the cost of its last released title, GTA V.
In the same article published by The Telegraph, Rockstar Games says it hired about 1,000 actors to bring the inhabitants of its cities and wilderness regions to life. In addition to the 1,000 different faces presented throughout the game, each non-player character (NPC) will have a personality and mood of its own. In other words, players will need to be careful about what they say or do around people, since it can start an argument and even lead to a duel; apologizing for what happened is the best option to avoid unnecessary fights.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on October 26 this year for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
