Do you remember those games from the 1990s and 2000s that defined an entire generation and won over the world? EDEN'S FRONTIER seeks to preserve that "soul" while attempting to challenge the future with an unprecedented experience shaped by today's ideas and technologies.

Developed by Frontiers Group, this is the first game announced by the Brazilian studio, whose development team is based in the city of Sorocaba, São Paulo. The fictional plot unfolds primarily in a mysterious place called Eden, where characters embark on an epic, fast-paced adventure, facing hidden threats, exploring new civilizations and locations, and trying to understand a strange loss of memory affecting their worlds.

The action takes place in real time, with each playable character possessing unique abilities, level progression, and gameplay rooted in soulslikes and hack 'n' slash games. Freedom is also central to the adventure in EDEN'S FRONTIER: characters can explore a new world alone or as a group, choosing between different available paths and events.

With a day-and-night system, an in-game clock tracks the passage of time, bringing unique events on certain days of the week or during particular periods. At night, the world becomes more hostile and challenging: some monsters and events, for example, are available only at night.

The game also features a system of equippable and playable cards, a character recruitment system for Spiral City, and famous real-world locations to explore, such as the Liberdade neighborhood in São Paulo, known for its Asian community.

Game Confirmed for Steam

In the game, you follow Blu, a young Bluveil, as he explores an unknown, damp cave in his home world. After an unexpected event, he is transported to a mysterious place far from everything he knew, where he meets Seth and Maria, two humans with distinct natures.

The game was initially confirmed for PC (Windows) on Steam®. You can add it to your wishlist by clicking here.

Comic Book

The game's narrative intertwines with a 100% original comic following Hiro's adventures, expanding the experience. The brand also plans to expand into mobile apps and an exclusive card game.

In the comic: Hiro is a human teenager who spends his final night in his home world like any other, hearing his mother's usual "good night" before going to sleep. But after a strange dream, he suddenly awakens and realizes that something is wrong: things no longer seem to be in their proper places, his mother disappears, and a heavy atmosphere hangs over the surroundings.

Afraid but determined to investigate, Hiro follows the trail of a strange "giant mold monster." Suddenly, he hears someone calling his name outside. Old legends come to mind: never answer a voice if you cannot see who is calling. Hiro decides to defy the superstition… and soon discovers that the place is no longer his home.

The comic's first chapter has 43 fully colored pages, in harmony with the artwork and world of the game. Two more chapters, which take place before the game and directly continue the story, have already been confirmed.
