At the latest Sonic anniversary event, held at Tokyo Joypolis, SEGA announced that Amy Rose, Big the Cat, and a group of four Chao (driving together in a single car) will be playable characters in Team Sonic Racing.
Amy will be a Speed-type character, the Chao will be Technique-type characters, and Big, of course, will be a Power-type character. Besides them, the characters confirmed so far are Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Rouge, and Omega, with six characters still left to be announced.
It is worth noting that many fans were puzzled by Cream's absence from this announcement, since teams similar to those in Sonic Heroes were expected, and the rabbit was there alongside Amy and Big. Will she really not appear, or has she been saved for another team that has yet to be revealed?
