The city of Sorocaba, São Paulo, is home to a unique nonprofit educational initiative: the Escola da Bíblia, or Bible School. For more than 20 years, the institution has dedicated itself to teaching Biblical Theology free of charge, offering solid education on the subject. The main objective described by the teachers is to provide an in-depth understanding of the teachings and history contained in the Bible, without any denominational affiliation.
With courses open to people of all beliefs, the classes are taught by teachers who donate their time and knowledge to the instruction. In addition, all materials and certificates for the free courses are also provided to students at no cost, in keeping with the biblical principle recalled in Matthew 10:8: "Freely you have received; freely give."
The Bible School generally announces the opening of new in-person classes and some distance-learning classes one month before lessons begin in February or August. The following are the updated classes for the second half of 2025 and their schedules:

Biblical Theology, the institution's most popular course, explores scripture comprehensively and systematically, providing students with a clear understanding of the principles related to the Christian faith, the world's most widespread religion.
