Here at Epic Play, we have already shared some tips on how to run a successful gaming channel on YouTube, as well as another article offering suggestions of Brazilian YouTubers who stand out in the geek and gaming niche.
But what about Brazil's most successful channels? Brazil is estimated to be one of the countries that consumes the most YouTube content worldwide, with 95% of internet users accessing it either frequently or occasionally.
Because the concept of popularity is ambiguous—it can refer to either subscribers or view counts—we decided to explore both sides in this article, even though they often overlap.
It is striking that channels dedicated to children and sertanejo music have many views but fewer subscribers, while those with the largest subscriber counts focus on comedy, games, or curiosities.
Note: In both lists, we decided to use approximate figures.
Most Subscribers
Canal Kondzilla (40 million)
The largest Brazilian YouTube channel since February 2018 is also the world's second-largest music channel: KondZilla trails only India's T-Series. Created by São Paulo native Konrad Cunha Dantas, he is a music-video producer who also owns a record label, Kondzilla Records, responsible for the rise of São Paulo funk.
Whindersson Nunes (31 million)
Besides being a YouTuber, Whindersson Nunes is a comedian and singer. He started on the platform in 2013, and his channel focuses entirely on comedy, with parodies, vlogs, original songs, film reviews, and more.
Thanks to his charisma and videos capable of making you "cry with laughter," he became Brazil's most successful YouTuber for two years before losing the position to the previously mentioned KondZilla.
Felipe Neto (25 million)
His first notable project was the channel Não Faz Sentido, which, curiously enough, began with two R$20 lamps and a pair of sunglasses he found in Porto de Galinhas.
Today, Felipe Neto works on a channel bearing his own name, where he posts daily videos with varied material involving opinions, information, and comedy.
Rezendeevil (20 million)
This channel became known for posting four fun and humorous vlog videos every day. Led by Pedro Afonso Rezende, Rezendeevil covers various everyday topics, reaction videos, his brother's proposals to girlfriends, kiss-or-pass games, and more.
Luccas Neto (19 million)
Felipe Neto's younger brother, Luccas Neto, has a channel aimed at children ages 3 to 9, with content such as competitions, games, and fables. The idea is to promote healthy family life, respect, appreciation of friendship, wholesome play, and educational messages without being "stuffy" or "boring."
GR6 EXPLODE (17.5 million)
Similar to Kondzilla, GR6 Explode is also a studio that produces music videos and is entirely focused on funk music.
Canal Canalha (17 million)
Canal Canalha is led by YouTuber Júlio Cesar Pinto Cocielo, an actor and comedian like Whindersson Nunes, who became famous for vlogs portraying everyday life with good humor. According to its description, his channel is "everyday life seen in the most roguish way possible."
The YouTuber recently became the subject of controversy over a comment on Twitter about a player on the French national soccer team that was considered racist.
Você Sabia? (16.5 million)
Led by Lukas Marques and Daniel Mologni, Você Sabia offers exactly what its name suggests: curiosities and interesting facts from around the world. There is footage of mysterious events, conspiracy theories, archaeological findings whose purpose remains unknown, and more.
Authentic Games (15 million)
YouTuber Marco Tulio became famous for a channel specializing in Minecraft, one of gaming's biggest phenomena among children. Authentic Games is not limited to the block-building game, also featuring videos about Roblox and other titles.
Porta dos Fundos (14 million)
A pioneer among YouTubers in Brazil, Porta dos Fundos propelled many now-familiar names to stardom, including Fábio Porchat, Gregório Duvivier, Rafael Infante, and others. The idea is to satirize, use dark humor, and show no "fear" of addressing controversial and social issues in a comedic style, which has also generated many controversies over the course of its history.

Canal KondZilla (19 billion views)
KondZilla is not only the largest Brazilian YouTube channel but also the one with the most views, reaching an impressive 19 billion. The channel's most-watched video is MC Fioti's song Bum Bum Tam Tam.
Galinha Pintadinha (10 billion views)
Curiously, Galinha Pintadinha did not enter the ranking of the 10 largest channels by subscriber count, but it is the second largest by number of views.
Developed by producers Juliano Prado and Marcos Luporini, the channel has only 47 videos and, as one might expect, focuses on young children with educational and entertaining songs. Its most famous video is "Pintinho Amarelinho."
GR6 Explode (8 billion views)
One of Brazil's largest YouTube channels, GR6 Explode, is also the third most watched. Its most-viewed clip is MC Don Juan and MC Hariel's Lei do Retorno, with 225 million views.
Turma da Mônica (7 billion views)
Another channel absent from the list of the largest by subscriber count, yet one with the impressive mark of 7 billion views. Made by Maurício de Souza's team, the Turma da Mônica channel features five- to ten-minute videos with its iconic characters.
Its accessibility stands out, with videos featuring audio description for blind children as well as Brazilian Sign Language. The most famous video is "Um dia de Cão, Gato e Sorvete," with 105 million views.
Rezendeevil (7 billion views)
Vlogger Rezendeevil also has one of YouTube's most-accessed channels, with 7 billion views. Curiously, his most famous videos are related to the Minecraft series, reinforcing its popularity among children on YouTube. His most famous video is Rap Minecraft Paraíso.
AuthenticGames (6 billion views)
Speaking of Minecraft, the Authentic Games channel is also among Brazil's most watched, and its video Minecraft Música com Meus Amigos is its most-viewed, with 47 million views.
Marília Mendonça (5 billion views)
Quite atypical compared with the others on the list, the "Queen of Sofrência," Marília Mendonça, is a sertanejo singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist who is highly successful on YouTube. Her videos easily surpass millions of views, with the song "Infiel" the most successful at 425 million.
TotoyKids (5 billion views)
The idea behind Totoy Kids is to show children at play, presenting varied content such as "pinball games," "Barbies," modeling-clay activities, and everything related to child development. Its most famous video is Baby Alive Minha Boneca na Hora do Almoço, with 77 million views.
Henrique & Juliano (5 billion)
A university sertanejo duo, the Henrique & Juliano channel follows the same pattern as Marília Mendonça, with videos that easily reach millions of views. Curiously, the channel's most successful video is Flor e o Beija-Flor, a crossover with the Queen of Sofrência.
Felipe Neto (4.5 billion)
Finally, Felipe Neto also ranks among the channels with the largest number of views in Brazil. His most famous video is Rebuliço, a parody of Despacito.
