Activision announced that its collection of remakes of the Crash PlayStation trilogy, called Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, had surpassed 10 million units sold, truly remarkable numbers for any released game.
Initially released in June 2017 as a PlayStation 4 exclusive, it later received conversions of the title originally developed by Naughty Dog for Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch, making it available to a much larger audience.

These figures show that consumers approve of the market's current trend toward a large number of remasters and remakes. They also help explain why Activision immediately began developing the remake of Crash Team Racing, scheduled to launch on June 21, 2019. Here at Epic, we only hope this success shows companies that fans of classic franchises also want to see new adventures with their beloved characters.
In terms of sales, Crash Bandicoot appears to have a promising future, with possibilities for new remakes or unreleased titles in the franchise. However, Crash Bandicoot's sales still do not compare in number with the trio of original PS1 releases. According to VGChartz, the first game alone approached 6.9 million sales. Crash Bandicoot 3 sold more than its two predecessors, with an approximate figure.
