Brazil was the first Western country to receive CrossFire's 2.0 update. At Sana, we spoke with one of its Brazilian representatives, Yo Sep Jung, who said: “Version 2.0 is updating the game so it can reach current releases in some respects.” Besides the graphics, the main changes include new elements for various weapons, such as sights and ammunition, new characters, an updated user interface, new game modes, and Ranked Matches.
In Ranked Matches, placement matches are played before players begin their military careers, seeking recognition, one of four medal classes (Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum), and a guaranteed place among the best CrossFire players in Latin America.
In the new Spy Mode, each team has an enemy player infiltrated among its members, and the spy's objective is to eliminate their own team before being discovered. In Arena Mode, matches are still played between teams, but the clashes take place one on one; whoever loses leaves, and whoever wins stays.
