Daemon X Machina, a Nintendo Switch game launching in September, received a trailer highlighting the changes made since its last demo. These changes were mainly prompted by player feedback.

Shortly after February's Nintendo Direct, the game received a free demo on the Switch eShop, and some players were selected to answer a questionnaire that sought to learn more about their profile and asked what they thought of the game and what could be improved, since Marvelous Interactive Inc. said it would use the feedback to refine the game until launch.

As the trailer shows, Marvelous appears to have kept that promise, since the great majority of player suggestions were addressed. They include:

  • Larger menu fonts
  • A way to lock the camera onto enemies
  • Increased player survival time after leaving the map boundaries
  • The ability to steal equipment while hovering instead of having to be on the ground
  • Indicators showing where enemy shots come from
  • A clearer distinction between allies and enemies
  • Motion controls for aiming

Several other changes were made to the controls and game design, improving the experience of this mech game.

The game will also have a special edition called the "Orbital Limited Edition".

Limited Edition

This edition of the game will include:

  • A box styled like a hangar, with a compartment for the game
  • An 18 cm Arsenal figurine
  • A physical copy of Daemon X Machina
  • A 100-page artbook
  • A steelbook

The special edition is limited and will be sold in Europe and Australia.

Daemon X Machina will launch for Nintendo Switch on September 13, 2019.
