We previously reported on a fantastic homebrew developer named Ian Wall, who was working on a "sequel" to Alex Kidd in Miracle World.
At the time, the game, which was technically a mod of the original game, was about 80% complete, but Wall recently released the final version as a free download!
The iRetroGamer channel published the video below, reviewing the game and telling you all about it, in case you want a small preview of the game's story.
Synopsis: "It has been six months since Alex defeated Janken the Great and recovered 'The Crown.' Egle, Alex's brother, has taken the throne and rules the city of Radaxian. However, there are still concerns on Planet Aries, as monsters continue to roam the land. Alex is still very worried about the whereabouts of his missing father. Radaxian's forces have been unable to locate King Thunder, so Alex sets out to find him. He retraces his steps and returns to the place where the trail went cold. Perhaps there is something he did not notice."
Wall originally produced 25 boxed copies of the game and, according to the video, he is considering making more (yes, please!). You can watch the video below (in English) and also download Alex Kidd in Miracle World 2 for free.
