Materials in Digimon World: Next Order are used to upgrade the buildings in your city. Some materials are easy to find, while others are hidden or very well protected by powerful Digimon. Check out this tutorial showing material locations on the Digimon World: Next Order map to find everything you need. Remember that Veemon, a Digimon recruited to the city, gives tips on where to find certain kinds of materials. You can also trade materials with Gotsumon, another recruit, at the builder's house.
Digimon World: Next Order - Material Location Guide
Small dots (or arrows) have been added to each in-game image; they point to rare locations for the material in question. You need different materials to upgrade your city in various ways, opening up new possibilities. All nodes also have a chance to drop additional and different materials. Material nodes (the golden ones) refresh every in-game day, allowing you to return to the same places the following day. There are also character abilities (trainer skills) that increase the amount of material collected from each node beyond the usual quantity, and these are worth leveling before focusing on this task.
