[Update 04/19/18] SEGA announced on its Facebook page that this new update was also released in the West today, meaning the update happened simultaneously in the rest of the world and not only in Japan. The original news follows below.
SEGA will release an update for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone (version 1.06) and Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone DX (version 1.01) on April 19 in Japan, adding the "Extra Extreme" difficulty to 10 songs, the company announced.
The Extra Extreme difficulty will be added to the following songs:
- Future Sound
- “Aikotoba”
- “The Intense Voice of Hatsune Miku”
- “Magnet”
- “Rolling Girl”
- Colorful Tone
- “Jugemu Sequencer”
- “Soiyassaa!!”
- “Time Limit”
- “Hanamai Tsukuyomi Tan”
- “Mousou Sketch”
- “Leia”
In addition, the method for calculating the completion percentage for Extra Extreme in records and rankings has been changed. The number of songs added in the update will now be included in the total number of songs used to calculate the completion percentage.
The update will also include stability improvements and bug fixes.
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone is available worldwide for PlayStation 4, while Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone DX, which is a physical version that brings together the game and all its DLC, is available only in Japan, although all the additional content is available digitally in the West.
