A Japanese trailer for Sonic Forces was released on SEGA's channel in the early hours of this morning (taking Brazil's time zone into account). With new cutscenes shown, we see that Infinite may possibly be one of Eggman's creations. Nothing has been confirmed yet.
The trailer continues with some epic scenes, including Knuckles giving a battle cry in front of an army of soldiers from the so-called resistance, as well as the villain Infinite in action and interior scenes at the resistance base. The background song accompanying the trailer is Fist Bump, the game's theme sung by Douglas Robb from the band Hoobastank.
The storytelling and cutscenes seem similar in style to the classic Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, released for Dreamcast. Watch the subtitled trailer on the Planeta Sonic page:
