After the release of Avengers: Endgame, many people wondered what would come next in the life of actor Robert Downey Jr., known worldwide for playing Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, and we are getting an idea of his next ambitious step.
At an Amazon event in Las Vegas called re:MARS, the actor revealed that he had formed an alliance focused on helping the planet combat the threat of global warming, called the Footprint Coalition. The project is set to begin in April 2020.
With robotics and nanotechnology, we could significantly, if not completely, clean up the planet in 10 years.
The Footprint Coalition will involve knowledge of robotics, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence to clean the planet through numerous methods of capturing carbon particles and ecosystem-cleaning systems. Essentially, it aims to help clean the world through technology.
Many fans and activists celebrated the announcement, with many comparing Robert Downey Jr.'s attitude to that of his character Tony Stark.

The subject of climate change and environmental impact has become increasingly relevant in recent years, with an article published by the National Centre for Climate Restoration warning that the time for change is now.
There will be negative consequences that will be irreversible, resulting in massive reductions in the human population on a global and national scale, mass extinction of species, economic disruption, and chaos in societies.
Fires in the Amazon rainforest also brought this issue to the forefront once again, not only for Brazil but for the entire world.
