SEGA released a new trailer for Team Sonic Racing that highlights the game's team mechanics. In the trailer, we can see Sonic and his friends working together, using team-based moves to overtake rival teams. In addition, we also get the first images of Team Rose in action, as well as the Ice Mountain track.
You will be able to help your friends and hinder your opponents with several fast moves, including:
Skimboost: Bring your friends who are in trouble back into the action by giving them a "boost" as you pass them!
Slingshot: Drive behind a teammate for a slingshot "boost"!
Take Down the Rival: Take down highlighted enemies ahead and speed past them!
Item Box Transfer: Send and receive Wisps with teammates anywhere on the track!
Ultimate Team: Use team mechanics to fill the Ultimate Team meter and unleash a massive team "boost"!
Team Sonic Racing will be released at the end of the year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Watch the trailer below.
