Nintendo announced that its new Nintendo Labo line, which includes a virtual-reality headset, will work not only with the games already included in the kit (which are more like tech demos), but also with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey.

In Super Mario Odyssey, players will have mini-missions to complete in the Cap Kingdom, Seaside Kingdom, and Luncheon Kingdom, where Mario must collect musical notes and coins in what Nintendo describes as a small adventure.

In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the entire game will be compatible with the device (except for cutscenes). It is not known exactly how much this will affect gameplay, but it will certainly give players a new view of the kingdom of Hyrule.
It is also not known how much long sessions will affect players physically, since the VR Headset has nothing that fastens it to the player's head, so the device may be intended only for short play sessions.

The option to enable the VR headset will be accessible from the game menu itself
The Nintendo Labo VR Kit will launch on April 12 for $39.99. The "Toy-Con" accessories that use VR also include a blaster and a camera, among others. Each will have its own mini-games included in the kit.
The new Zelda and Mario modes will be released on April 25 in a free update for both games.
