Disney recently made the charismatic Donald Duck's Mega Drive game, called Maui Mallard, available on Steam and GOG. In this game, the protagonist is a private investigator who has an alter ego with ninja abilities, capable of changing the character's gameplay.
This PC version is based on the Mega Drive original and received a good dose of remastering, especially in the music, with an increase in sound quality and the inclusion of tracks that were previously available only on a Red Book audio CD.
For those unfamiliar with it, Maui Mallard is a fun platform game originally released in 1995 for Mega Drive and Super Nintendo, in 1996 for PC and in 1998 for Game Boy. It was developed by Eurocom and was one of the first games released by Disney Interactive.
The release of the Mega Drive version of Maui Mallard is taking place for the first time in the United States, since agreements made with competitor Nintendo at the time prevented the title from reaching the Mega Drive (it was released only in Europe and Brazil). It took a while, but the wait will be worth it.
Below is the trailer for Maui Mallard, which is already available on Steam or GOG.Com for those interested in purchasing it.
