Monolith Soft, a Nintendo subsidiary that recently helped develop The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, posted openings on its website for programmers and artists who will work on the new The Legend of Zelda game that is already in development.

This confirms the company's involvement in the next game, but it is not known whether it will merely provide assistance or be entirely responsible for development. The job listings indicate that the game remains in the early stages of development, and Nintendo has not made any official announcement estimating when the game will be released.
On its website (in Japanese), the company mentions two projects, but it is not clear which one or how many of them are related to The Legend of Zelda.
Monolith Soft, which developed the Xenogears and Xenosaga franchises and is now better known for the Xenoblade series, is recognized for creating large, beautiful open worlds, something that can clearly be seen in Breath of the Wild and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Its involvement in the next The Legend of Zelda suggests that the game will continue to feature open-world elements, but nothing can be confirmed at this time.
