In a recent announcement by EA, it was said that developer Respawn, responsible for the Titanfall franchise, would be responsible for releasing several titles on the market by the 2019 holiday season. However, neither EA nor Respawn said which games they would be. Andrew Wilson, EA’s CEO, stated: "We have new projects underway, including games from Respawn that are expected to launch in the next holiday season". It is believed that the new projects refer to three games: a Star Wars title called Jedi Fallen Order, a new franchise to be played with VR headsets, and Titanfall 3, because it is the company’s main brand.

In an interview during E3 2018, Respawn CEO Vince Zampella confirmed that the company was indeed producing a Star Wars game. It was also reported that Titanfall 2 sold less than the company wanted because it launched close to major titles in the same genre. This makes us believe that Titanfall 3 could be released in the first half of 2019.

For those unfamiliar with Titanfall, it is a first-person shooter in which we control pilots who temporarily enter their “Titans”: enormous mechs that give us major advantages in battle. Among the franchise’s distinctive features are the characters’ great abilities, which let them make huge jumps and run along walls.

Now, we will wait for more information about these future releases. Below is the trailer for Titanfall 2.
