Following the monthly release pattern established so far, Nintendo will add three more NES games to the Nintendo Switch Online library this May. The titles, arriving on the 15th, are Clu Clu Land, Donkey Kong Jr., and Vs. Excitebike.
- Clu Clu Land — After sea urchins steal all the gold bars from Clu Clu Land, the fish Bubbles must pass through 20 mazes to recover them, while defending herself with sound waves that can stun her enemies.
- Donkey Kong Jr. — A sequel to the classic arcade game, this title has Donkey Kong's son saving his father, who was captured by none other than Mario. To do so, Donkey Kong Jr. must climb vines and chains, collecting fruit and keys while avoiding the obstacles thrown at him.
- Vs. Excitebike — Originally released in arcades, this Famicon Disk System title is an improvement over the NES/Famicon Excitebike (which is already on Nintendo Switch Online). New content includes a customizable multiplayer mode, a different soundtrack, a campaign based on the arcade version, and a track editor.
With these releases, Nintendo Switch Online will have 41 NES games, more than double the initial number of 20.
