“It is no longer just Japan; the whole world is waiting to see the Phantom Thieves’ next move.”

There is a new trailer for Persona 5, showing the voice cast, characters, and other aspects to know what to expect from the game when it is released in North America and Europe on April 4, 2017. With less than a month to go, it is time to get on the hype train. SEGA fans who have never played Persona can play any game that has already been released without having played a previous version, more or less as in the Final Fantasy series. Along with the new trailer, Atlus USA also released a description of the game.

"Persona 5 is a game about the internal and external conflicts of a group of troubled young people living double lives. They have the typical daily routine of a Tokyo student—attending classes, taking part in after-school activities, and working part-time jobs. But they also embark on fantastic adventures using otherworldly powers to enter people’s hearts.

Their powers come from Persona, a Jungian concept of the “self”; the game’s heroes realize that society forces people to wear masks to protect their inner vulnerabilities, and by literally tearing off their protective masks and confronting who they really are, the heroes awaken their inner powers and use them to help those in need.

In the end, the group of Phantom Thieves aims to change the everyday world so that it fits their perceptions and they can see through the masks worn by modern society."

Put on your mask and secure your copy of Persona 5 when the game reaches stores in North America and Europe on PS3 and PS4. Check out the trailer in the video below:
