Japanese magazine Famitsu conducted a poll asking readers which game they considered the best RPG of all time. Persona 5 was the winner.
The poll collected 2,295 votes, 56% from men and 43% from women (1% unspecified). Of those votes, only 9% came from teenagers, 36% from people in their 20s, 37% from people in their 30s, 16% from people in their 40s, and 1% from people in their 50s. Voting took place from June 22 to 28, less than a year after Persona 5 launched in Japan. Below is the list of the best RPGs of all time according to Japanese readers.
