Persona 5 has been an impressive success for Atlus since its release on September 15, a few weeks ago. The company announced at the end of this week that more than 550,000 copies of the game were sold across the PS3 and PS4 editions in Japan.
Let's put this in perspective for Atlus: Persona 4: The Golden, for PS Vita, rereleased as the latest game in the main Persona series, reached 350,000 units in Japan after almost 2 years of availability. Clearly, Persona 5 will be a monstrous success for Atlus and will fill the coffers of its parent company, SEGA, this year.
To celebrate this achievement, Atlus announced that it will release two free DLC packs with new outfits for players. Check out photos of some of them:
The first DLC pack will contain swimsuits for the main cast to wear. Although these outfits can be seen during the game and in promotional trailers, they can even be worn in the dungeons if you have the pack. The DLC will be available on October 5 and will remain free indefinitely.

The second pack will feature outfits inspired by another Atlus game, Catherine. However, this pack will only be free from October 5 through October 10. After that, it will cost 800 yen.
Atlus and SEGA have been doing very well at bringing most of the DLC to the West in recent years, so it is hard to imagine that these two DLC packs will not see the light of day when Persona 5 reaches Western stores on February 14, 2017.
