Interesting news about the Phantasy Star franchise, beloved SEGA series, has recently emerged. It concerns a new anime related to Phantasy Star Online 2.
According to the report, the series will have 25 episodes released in October 2019 (with no exact date set) and will apparently cover the story of Episodes 1, 2, and 3 of PSO2; it will be called Episode Oracle. At the same time, it was also announced that the anime will have creative freedom, including some original and previously unseen sections of the franchise, unlike its predecessors. Another detail is that everything indicates this will be only the first season, with considerable potential for future continuations.
It is worth remembering that PSO2 already received an anime called Phantasy Star Online 2: The Animation, but it was about a group of students who played the game, while the new anime will follow the game's story more faithfully.

For those who do not know, during the last E3, an announcement that caught everyone's attention was that PSO2 would finally be coming to the West for Xbox One and PC in 2020, with the possibility of versions for other consoles, such as PlayStation 4.
Here is the question for Western audiences: is it worth watching the anime and receiving spoilers, or is it better to wait for the game coming next year and only then enjoy the episodes?
