When we think of games in the Persona franchise, well-made animated sequences are a basic requirement. They have been a major hallmark of the franchise since it reached PS2 with Persona 3. From the beginning, watching these sequences has felt like watching actual anime series; complete series were even made from the sequences in Persona 3 and Persona 4. Expectations for Persona 5's animation were therefore sky-high. Since Atlus has never backed down from a good challenge, it hired one of the best anime studios to work on the new game.

Japanese studio Production I.G. is responsible for countless works, including major anime series such as Ghost in the Shell. In the world of video games, it developed several animated sequences for games such as Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Graces, both from Namco.
Until that point, there had been little information about who was working on the animation, but the studio itself has now confirmed its involvement through its own website.

Although Production I.G. is working on the anime sequences shown in the game, the Persona 5 anime adaptation will be handled by A-1 Pictures, the studio behind anime such as Ano Hana, Sword Art Online, and The Seven Deadly Sins.
Given all of this, there is no doubt that Persona 5 will be an excellent game. Now we must wait until September 15 to see it.
About the Persona Series
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona is a series of RPGs developed by Atlus. It began as a spin-off of the same developer's Megami Tensei franchise and became more famous than the main series itself, especially in the West. The series began with Revelations: Persona, released for the original PlayStation in 1996.
Every game in the series takes place in the same universe and shares certain elements. They typically involve groups of student protagonists and are set in modern-day Japan, with a strong focus on occult plots involving world destruction and rebirth, potential "messiahs" and "antichrists," and an infinite number of "personas," influenced by cultures and religions from our real world, that provide the characters with special abilities and magic in battle throughout the story.
