The new game from Ryu ga Gotoku Studio, known in Japan as Judge Eyes, was announced for the West under the provisional name Project Judge. Now, we have the game’s official title: it will be called Judgment and will be released in summer 2019 (Brazilian winter).

It was also revealed that the game will have an English dub. Considering that the game is basically a spin-off of Yakuza and takes place entirely in Japan with Japanese characters, the announcement of an English dub was a surprise, since the Yakuza games include only Japanese voice acting. Although SEGA has not confirmed it yet, we can safely say that the original Japanese dub will also be available, as this is standard in the company’s latest games (Shining Resonance Refrain, Valkyria Chronicles 4, Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise, Shenmue I & II, among other titles, make that clear).

[Update: Scott Strichart, responsible for localizing the Yakuza series, confirmed in a tweet that the game will have not only English and Japanese voice acting, but also two subtitle tracks: one for the American dub and another for what is actually said in the original Japanese version.]
