Puyo Puyo eSports is already available on PlayStation 4 and Switch as a digital download. It is a version of Puyo Puyo with more "essential" content, featuring 24 playable characters, the two traditional Tsu and Fever modes, and simplified menus and options, making it a very direct and easy way to play a game from the franchise on a current console.
The game is already available in Japan, China and Korea, and since the PS4 and Switch are not region-locked, it is possible to download Puyo Puyo eSports and play without any problems, as long as you have an account from one of those regions, which you can easily create. What stands out is the price: although the game costs 1,999 yen (about 67 reais), SEGA is offering a 75% discount through November 30, bringing it to only 500 yen (about 15 reais).
We still do not know whether the game will receive an official Western release, but we will report it as soon as we know. Until then, the game can be purchased at a very attractive price, and its menus are few and very simple, allowing you to play without trouble even if you do not know Japanese.
