In a recent announcement, Take-Two Interactive, the distributor of Red Dead Redemption 2, said that the beta for the game's online mode will be available to players by the end of this month. We still do not know the exact date when it will be available, but the company's chief executive, Strauss Zelnick, said it is an evolution of the first game's multiplayer experience, with competitive and cooperative game modes that use the entire available world.
The chief executive also said that he expects a "migration" of GTA Online players to that of Red Dead Redemption 2. It is impossible to know whether this will happen, but the chances of this new game mode being successful are high, since the title released on October 26 has already surpassed 17 million copies sold, exceeding its predecessor.
