Have you ever imagined playing a game that resembles Minecraft because of its blocky graphics, but has a full rodeo style, complete with animal hunting and music typical of rodeo festivals? That is the case with Rodeo Stampede Savannah, available on Poki.
The objective is to capture animals and jump between them using the space bar. After you tame them for a while, they automatically go to a zoo. To do this, you have to dodge the other animals and obstacles that appear along the way; the game ends when you hit one of them or decide to jump from one animal to another and fall to the ground.
There are five savannas and seven different animals, each with a different kind of advantage. If you ride the ostrich, for example, you can run farther and faster. If you use the giraffe, you can run over other animals, while zebras do not become shaky and "out of control" after a while. From time to time, the developer adds new animals to make the player's experience even richer.
As for the savannas, the scenery changes depending on how far you manage to go. When a run ends, you can see the animals captured during it in a kind of zoo that you can customize with the money earned throughout the game. At the end of a run, you receive a significant amount of money to customize the zoo. Although this is only cosmetic, it is fun to build.
Savannah Rodeo Stampede fits the typical Poki game category: simple, with attractive visuals, free, and fun. It is excellent for spending an afternoon playing, but it can also be quite addictive for people who enjoy catching every animal.
