The Arcade Heroes website reported that SEGA Amusements, SEGA's arcade division, will bring a new racing game to arcades. It will be playable for the first time at IAAPA 2018, an event that will take place in November in Orlando, Florida. The game is called ATV Slam and appears to be a completely new franchise.
The game will feature “ATVs” (or “All-Terrain Vehicles,” meaning vehicles that travel over every type of surface). They reported that the game will feature an upgrade system, 3 game modes and 15 different bikes to unlock. The press release also mentions that there will be a “custom-developed motion platform” for players and a “unique artificial intelligence system” that will make the game fun for both casual and more dedicated players. They also promise exotic environments, wind effects and beautiful graphics.
