SEGA announced that the Switch version of SEGA Genesis Classics / SEGA Mega Drive Classics will be released on December 7.

Following the SEGA AGES titles announced last week and ready to launch during Tokyo Gaming Show, SEGA continues through the winter by bringing great classics to the portable Switch. Retro fans can now finally play the Genesis / Mega Drive collection on their way to school or work, during their lunch break, or basically anywhere on the go!
SEGA Genesis / SEGA Mega Drive Classics has more than 50 retro favorites to experience across every genre: arcade action, shooters, beat 'em ups, puzzles, and obscure games, with a range of modern features. Exclusively on Nintendo Switch, players can now compete in local co-op on the same screen and use each Joy-Con individually if they wish.
Familiar features such as online multiplayer, achievements, mirror modes, a rewind function, and save states are all part of the collection so everyone can revisit them and have fun.
This collection was originally released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in May and includes the following games:
