Sonic Generations Secrets and Codes Revealed

Sonic Generations contains a secret trophy/statue room, music, biographies, and other unlockables, even including the ability to play the complete original Mega Drive version of Sonic 1. Here is the list of secrets:

Statue Room

Platforms: PS3, Xbox 360, and PC

In the collectibles room, position Sonic to the right of the movie chair and to the left of the picture. Hold "Select" on consoles or the equivalent "Back" key on PC, and you will fall into a hole that opens, entering an empty room. This is the statue room, where you can enter passwords to obtain the statues.

At this location, press "Select" to open the code screen. Then simply enter the following:

Unlock the Original Sonic the Hedgehog

Platforms: PS3 and Xbox 360

To unlock and play the original Mega Drive version of Sonic the Hedgehog, you first need to buy the controller in the shop beside Green Hill Zone and then take it to the SEGA console located at the upper left of Green Hill.

Platforms: PS3 and Xbox 360

After unlocking the classic Mega Drive version of Sonic the Hedgehog, load it. As soon as Sonic appears on the title screen, press the following buttons in this order: Up, Down, Left, Right, and X (PS3) or A (X360). If you do it correctly, the menu will update with the selection.

Mission Mode Unlockables (3DS)

Platform: 3DS

You can unlock various sounds, illustrations, and 3D models to view in the Collection Menu by completing certain challenges in Mission Mode. Note: Missions can be unlocked by progressing through them, completing a certain number of levels, accumulating playtime, or spending five Play Coins each.

Play as Super Sonic

Platforms: PS3, Xbox 360, and PC

Defeat the game's final boss. You will be able to obtain and select the ability to transform into Super Sonic during a stage after collecting 50 rings.
