Sonic Mania Plus, the definitive version of the retro game starring SEGA's mascot, has been receiving a great deal of critical praise, and now the game has reached a new record. With a Metascore of 90 for its Nintendo Switch version, the game is now the highest-rated Sonic title in the past 25 years, losing only to Sonic CD, which has an average score of 93.
