Dotemu, Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games released a developer diary called "Behind the Tracks" for Streets of Rage 4, revealing that longtime series composers Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima will join other renowned Japanese artists on the game's official soundtrack.
The game will feature music by the following artists:
- Yuzo Koshiro (Streets of Rage 1, 2 and 3, Sonic the Hedgehog (8bit), The Revenge Shinobi, Shenmue I and II, etc.)
- Motohiro Kawashima (Streets of Rage 2 and 3, Shinobi II: The Silent Fury, Batman Returns, etc.)
- Yoko Shimomura (Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, Kingdom Hearts I, II and III, Legend of Mana, Parasite Eve, etc.)
- Hideki Naganuma (Jet Set Radio and Future, Super Monkey Ball, SEGA Rally 2, Sonic Rush, etc.)
- Keiji Yamagishi (Ninja Gaiden, Tecmo Bowl, etc.)
More information about the soundtrack will be revealed later.
