PewDiePie, a YouTuber known for his humorous and gaming videos, was long known as the YouTube channel with the most subscribers in history. However, a new channel changed everything: T-Series. It is dedicated to an Indian company of the same name, specializing in distributing entertainment materials and productions from India, including music videos and trailers for Bollywood productions.
For a long time, a battle was fought between the two channels for the title of the platform's most subscribed channel, resulting in memes such as Subscribe to PewDiePie. The competition grew so large that T-Series took legal action against Felix over the video Congratulations, which humorously criticized the channel. The winner of this war has finally emerged.
In addition to becoming the YouTube channel with the most subscribers, T-Series became the first channel in the site's history to reach 100 million subscribers. To celebrate, YouTube posted about the event on Twitter.

Congratulations to @TSeries for reaching 100 million subscribers!
YouTube also mentioned a new trophy that will be given to the corporation for the achievement.
Hey @TSeries, you may want to make room on your shelf for something new and shiny...
The Subscribe to PewDiePie meme took an unfortunately unexpected turn when a shooter mentioned the meme after opening fire in Christchurch, New Zealand, during a livestream on Facebook, resulting in the deaths of 50 people and injuries to another 50. Afterward, PewDiePie asked fans to stop using the "joke."
Fans of the Swedish YouTuber criticized the tweet, pointing out that T-Series is a conglomerate with thousands of employees producing videos, while PewDiePie operates more autonomously. Fans also said that if Felix had been the first to reach 100 million, YouTube would not have celebrated it because of an agenda against the YouTuber.
