Everything indicates that Sonic really is popular in the United Kingdom, since Team Sonic Racing reached the top of the region’s weekly physical sales ranking. This had not happened with a Sonic franchise game since 2008.
According to the report, during the same period, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformedhad not sold even half as many copies as Team Sonic Racing. PlayStation 4 was the platform on which the title performed best, followed by Switch, with only 200 physically sold copies separating the two versions.
