Tokyo Game Show brings major publishers and independent studios together to show their games. At the 2026 event, running September 17 through 21, Persona 4 Revival, Marvel’s Wolverine, Final Fantasy VII Revelation and Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse are among the titles with announced demos.

Even if you are following from home, the lineup helps you see which games will be in the spotlight. I have grouped announcements made through September 6 by publisher, with trailers and a few options you can try without traveling. They include new games, expansions and new versions of existing releases.

A demo at the show does not mean there is a version available to download. Trailers may also show different sections from those prepared for TGS.

SEGA and ATLUS

SEGA/ATLUS will have demos of these games, including partner titles at the same booth:

  • Stranger Than Heaven
  • Persona 4 Revival
  • Total War: Warhammer 40,000
  • Crazy Taxi: World Tour
  • Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
  • Sonic PICO PARK
  • Absolum
  • Dave the Diver Complete Edition

  • Lollipop Chainsaw New Project
  • EA Sports FC 27
  • Farming Simulator 25: Beans & Alpacas Expansion

  • LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

Even if you already know Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, the show will feature a special version. The announcement does not yet specify its tracks or characters. Stranger Than Heaven will have a demo, a museum and a musical theater.

Silent Hill: Townfall, Rev. NOiR, Rhapsody in Scarlet, PROJECT ZIRCON and Suikoden STAR LEAP also appear in Konami's program, but its catalog does not confirm playable demos for them. An appearance in a presentation is not the same as a demo announcement.

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse continues Konami's partnership with Evil Empire, which worked on Dead Cells' Return to Castlevania expansion. In an interview with the producers, they explain that the new game retains 2D action and exploration while expanding the whip's role: it is used to traverse the environment as well as attack.

In Pragmata, you control two characters at once: Hugh moves and shoots while Diana, a robot, hacks systems. They are trying to escape a lunar base controlled by a hostile artificial intelligence.

To try that combination at home, the free Sketchbook demo is available on Steam. It introduces the combat and exploration, but there is no confirmation that it is the same build prepared for the booth. The full game is sold separately.
