One month after the most recent addition to the SEGA Forever catalog, Streets of Rage 2, we are now receiving three games in the collection at once: Shining in the Darkness, Shining Force and Shining Force II, all available for Android and iOS. As with the other games, you can download and play them for free with ads, with the option to remove the ads by paying for the games.
The Shining Force series is considered a benchmark for tactical RPGs, standing out mainly for the first two games in the series released on Mega Drive. Before them, however, the franchise began with a first-person dungeon-crawling RPG called Shining in the Darkness. Whether you are a fan of the original game, the Force series or both, all three Mega Drive games are now available on your phone.
The latest release in the Shining series was Shining Resonance Refrain, an action RPG released for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC on July 10, 2018.
