Twitch Prime, the subscription service from game-streaming website Twitch, announced on Thursday (28) that it would begin offering Nintendo Switch Online to its members. Anyone who already has Twitch Prime can now claim three months of Nintendo's online service and, after 60 days as a subscriber, can claim another nine months, for a total of 12 months of Nintendo Switch Online.
Nintendo Switch Online is Nintendo's paid online service for the console. It allows users to access the online features of games such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2 , and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It also provides access to more than 30 NES games—some with online multiplayer—including numerous classics such as Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda , and Kirby's Adventure.

Twitch Prime is a service that provides several benefits to Twitch users who have an Amazon Prime account, including offers, in-game content, ad-free streams, and more. Amazon Prime itself already gives users discounts, faster or free deliveries, and access to Amazon streaming services, including Prime Video and Prime Music.

The Amazon Prime subscription that includes Twitch Prime costs R$7.90 for the first six months, after which the price rises to R$14.90 per month. At present, a Nintendo Switch Online subscription costs R$14.80 for one month, R$29.70 for three months, and R$74.25 for 12 months. Therefore, subscribing to Twitch Prime solely to obtain Nintendo's service is a less expensive alternative, depending on how long the user intends to subscribe. However, this is an excellent offer for anyone who already uses Twitch Prime or already plans to get it.
People who already have Nintendo Switch Online can still claim the subscription months, which will be added to their current plan. On its website, however, Twitch explains that the offer is not valid for those on a family membership, which can include up to eight people.
