SEGA announced that Valkyria Chronicles 4 will be released in the Americas and Europe on September 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (on Steam).
In North America, anyone who preorders the game will receive a launch edition with a skin for their console controller featuring Ragnarok, the game's medical dog. In Europe and the United Kingdom, the launch edition will include a special Ragnarok sticker.
There is also a premium edition called "Memoirs from Battle," as previously announced. It will cost US$99 and include an Exclusive Vinyl Statue of the "Hafen" Tank, an exclusive 100-page themed artbook called "Claude's Travel Journal," and a pair of DLC adventures featuring characters from the first Valkyria Chronicles Squad 7 (which will also be available as an additional item on all platforms around the game's launch).
In Japan, the game was released for PS4 on March 21 this year, and the Switch version will be released on September 27, two days after the Western launch, along with a Switch version of the first Valkyria Chronicles, which we still do not know whether it will reach the West.
