Previously announced only for Japan, SEGA announced that the Switch version of Valkyria Chronicles Remastered will arrive on the Nintendo eShop in the West on October 16 for US$19.99. Anyone who buys the Switch version of Valkyria Chronicles 4 digitally will receive a 25% discount on the game.
For those unfamiliar with it, Valkyria Chronicles is an acclaimed tactical RPG originally released on PlayStation 3 in 2008 that surpassed one million copies sold. The game was ported to PC through Steam in 2014, where it also sold remarkably well, and received a remastered version for PlayStation 4 in 2016.
In Japan, the Switch version of Valkyria Chronicles Remastered arrives on September 27, while the game is already available worldwide for PlayStation 4.
