Toilets
"Even the toilet is a place to play!" Toilets are a side activity never before seen in the series. The electronic POP toilets installed in SEGA Interactive stores are now a game. Among the various types of toilets, you can enjoy "Splash Battle! Nose Milk" and "The North Wind, the Sun, and Me" in Yakuza Kiwami 2. To play in the toilets, you have to accumulate "toilet points" by eating and drinking. You can check your points in the "Toilet Center," and when your tank is full, you can play in them.

Virtual-On
The arcade game released in 1995. Pilot giant robots called "Virtuaroids" in this action shooter where high-density, high-mobility battles take place in a three-dimensional virtual space. Choose from eight types of Virtuaroids, play one-on-one battles in succession, and aim for victory.
Karaoke
The rhythm-action game typical of the series. You can play it at the "Karaoke House" in Kamurocho or "Snack New Momoko" in Sotenbori. In Yakuza Kiwami 2, you can sing karaoke not only with the hostesses but also with Goro Majima or Haruka. New songs have been added for Kazuma Kiryu as well as Majima, including a passionate ballad unique to Majima that only he can sing.
Golf
A golf minigame playable at the Yokobori Golf Center in Sotenbori. It was rebuilt from scratch with the Dragon Engine and completely reborn from the golf minigame included in earlier titles. In Yakuza Kiwami 2, you can play a "closest-to-the-pin challenge," in which you compete to get nearest the pin, and a "bingo challenge," in which you shoot at a three-by-three target to make bingo.

Batting Center
The "Batting Center" minigame typical of the series can be enjoyed in Yakuza Kiwami 2 by visiting the Yoshida Batting Center in Kamurocho. In addition to the "Challenge Course" and "Home Run Course" added in Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, you can also attempt the new "Home Run Race" course.

Mahjong
You can play mahjong at "Jansou Lullaby" in Kamurocho or "Reach Towers" in Sotenbori. You can compete in the "Ryuumeisen" event battle at Jansou Lullaby and the "Sotenpai" event battle at Reach Towers. Event battles have a high entry fee, but if you win, you can acquire a large amount of money.

Shogi
At the shogi parlor, you can use the "Ranked Match" and "Challenge" modes. In Ranked Match, you begin at rank 10 and try to win and advance while aiming for the top. In Challenge mode, you start with a preset board on which you must capture the opponent's king. You earn points for victories in both modes, and those points can be exchanged for prizes.

Casino
After purchasing chips at the casino, you can play "poker" and "blackjack." The chips you win at the casino can be exchanged for prizes.

Gambling Hall
After purchasing kirifuda at the gambling hall, you can play "koi-koi" and "oicho-kabu." The credits you win at the gambling hall can be exchanged for prizes.

◆ Gravure Photo Studio
Popular gravure idols Hikaru Aoyama and Rina Hashimoto appear at the new "Gravure Photo Studio" play spot. The player takes the role of a camera operator and can enjoy a conversation with the idol while taking gravure photos. If you keep the conversation going and skillfully bring out their charm, you may even be able to take that special photo.
◆ Coliseum
The Coliseum is one of the series' traditional side activities. In the Coliseum, where all kinds of fighters appear, aim to dominate every tournament. There are various rules for Coliseum tournaments, including standard one-on-one battles, "Great Fire Battles," where flames shoot from the floor, "Electric Battles," where touching the wall causes an explosion, and "Grand Brawl Battles," where eight characters fight at the same time.
Great Fire Battle
A battle in an arena where flames shoot from the floor at regular intervals. Since you will take damage if you touch the flames, try to fight while avoiding the fire.

Electric Battle
A battle in an arena surrounded by a fence that generates a damaging explosion when touched. Try to fight while staying away from the fence. By throwing your opponent toward it, you can hit them with explosion damage.

Grand Brawl Battle
A battle-royale rule where eight characters, including Kiryu, participate at the same time. Various weapons will fall into the ring, so try to use them skillfully.

Pro-Wrestling Legends Also Participate
By fulfilling specific conditions, the legendary wrestlers who appear in the "New Clan Creator" activity will join the Coliseum. Each wrestler has their own signature moves, which they will use when facing Kiryu. They are all powerful, so be careful not to get hit.
