SEGA recently announced that Yakuza Kiwami 2, originally released only for PlayStation 4 in the West on August 28, 2018, is finally coming to PC. The title will be available on Steam for R$102.99 starting May 9, 2019.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a remake of Yakuza 2, a high-quality game that was successful in the East and deserves greater recognition among Western audiences. Below is the game's description according to Steam:

Kazuma Kiryu thought his days in the Tojo Clan were behind him. He and the young girl in his care, Haruka Sawamura, built a peaceful life after the conflicts. It took only a single gunshot to shatter the peace. Yukio Terada, the fifth chairman of the Tojo Clan, was murdered. With war on the horizon, the legendary Dragon of Dojima is pulled back into the world he wanted to leave behind.

Kiryu must travel to Sotenbori, Osaka, in an attempt to broker peace between the rival clans, but Ryuji Goda, known as the Dragon of Kansai, will stop at nothing to get his war. In this world, there can be only one dragon.

Rebuilt from the ground up, Yakuza Kiwami 2 uses the Dragon Engine to update one of the series' standout titles into a modern classic. The PC version includes all the features you expect: 4K resolution, unlocked frame rates, customizable controls, and robust graphics options.

Play fan-favorite minigames, including updated versions of the Cabaret Club simulator and Clan Creator, or check out all-new additions such as the Virtual On arcade game, Bingo Golf, and Toilets.

Also new to Kiwami 2 is the "Majima Saga," which features Goro Majima in his own playable adventure, revealing events that take place before the beginning of the story.
