Ada Wong had already been confirmed for the Resident Evil 2 remake. Her new look even caught fans' positive attention in a trailer about the game's story. What no one expected until then, however, was that Ada Wong might be a playable character in the franchise's new remake.
An article from Metro was published and has since gone offline, containing information from a remake preview. Among the details was the claim that Ada Wong would be playable in Resident Evil 2, along with an image clearly showing the character from a player's perspective.
Capcom has not yet responded about this possibility in the game. Although we have the photo as "proof" that Ada Wong will be playable, it is still too early for any information to become reality, especially because the article responsible for the announced information was removed. Therefore, fans will have to wait a little longer before getting fully excited.
Resident Evil 2 will be released on January 25, 2019, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
