Recent Nintendo job postings already show that the company is making the next game in The Legend of Zelda franchise. What caught everyone's attention is that the future employees' responsibilities include designing dungeons, the classic labyrinths that were practically absent from the franchise's latest game.

Unfortunately, we do not know any further details, such as whether these dungeons will be for new games in the franchise or for Zelda remakes, remasters, and spin-offs. Last year, the series' lead producer, Eiji Aonuma, said that there would probably be a mainline Zelda game for Switch, since Breath of the Wild was originally a Wii U game. Another development concerning the series, mentioned by Aonuma at the time, was that they were studying the possibility of one of the next games focusing on online multiplayer.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild decided to do things differently from the other games in the series, setting dungeons aside and focusing on open-world exploration interspersed with puzzles found in shrines. Despite the changes, the game was very well received by the public and critics.

What about you? Did you miss the typical dungeons, or not? Below, we can watch the trailer for this game, which many considered the best of 2017.

We should also remember that it was recently reported that there is a possibility of a Zelda animated series being made for Netflix with the same director as Castlevania.
