For now, it is only a rumor, but everything indicates that we will soon have an animated series based on The Legend of Zelda on Netflix. It all began when Adi Shankar, producer of the current hit Castlevania series, posted on Instagram that he was involved in a project from a game company and one of its main franchises. After that, The Wrap reported that the supposed series would be The Legend of Zelda, as a secret source had provided the outlet with this information.
According to Shankar, the announcement of his next series will apparently take place on November 16, 2018. If its quality resembles the work done on Castlevania, we can already celebrate.
We know how protective Nintendo and Shigeru Miyamoto have been of their franchises in recent years. However, that tells us that, if the franchise in production really is Zelda, its high quality is practically guaranteed.
