The video game market may gain another new competitor. Rumors say that Google, known worldwide for its search services and YouTube, is determined to compete against Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo.
Google recently announced that it will give a talk at the Game Developers Conference 2019, a special event focused on video game developers. The giant's confirmed presence strengthens the rumor that a new console is coming to change the world of video games. The main concept surrounding this device is that it would work through streaming and also support physical games.

To try to make its mark on the market, Google is seeking partnerships with developers to bring in a game library that will impress people who are uncertain about the company's entry into the market.
Ubisoft and SEGA "in the Game"
YouTuber SnaperWave gathered several rumors about developers that could potentially join the effort. One of them may already have some games to show at GDC: Ubisoft. Strong rumors even indicate that a newWatch Dogs will be released for a new console generation, possibly including Google's. Another company that could be joining the effort is SEGA, which may attract interest because Google has shown an interest in reviving old or abandoned properties.
SEGA was said to be one of the companies most heavily involved with Google, which would indicate that it was making either several major games or many smaller games for the device. However, it was also said that SEGA made it explicitly clear that it would not make games involving its mascot, Sonic the Hedgehog, exclusive to Google Yeti.
If this partnership is indeed real, and to find out what may result from it, we will have to wait until Google's conference on March 18.
