Nintendo recently came forward through the official Twitter account of its American division to announce the release date of Mario Kart Tour for iOS and Android devices. The date will be September 25, 2019.
One of the factors that drew attention in its trailer is the presence of not only some classic tracks from the franchise, but also new ones representing real locations, such as Paris, France. We can see that elements from more recent games in the series, such as an underwater section, will be present in the game, which demonstrates, as we expected, that this is not a simple mobile game.
Mario Kart Tour was initially announced in 2018, when it was already said to be a free game that will have microtransactions in its content. According to reports, this title is being made to be played with just one thumb, making its acceleration, braking, item use and kart control functions easy to perform.
