A new trailer for Shenmue III had been promised for MAGIC 2019, which took place in Monaco. After some time without much news about the game, the event showed a new trailer that, unlike the previous ones, features fully voiced cutscenes, facial expressions, and some of the game's combat.
Overall, the game looks a lot like the Dreamcast originals. The direction, camera angles, and everything else are highly recognizable to those who played the originals, while the updated graphics make the essence of Shenmue very easy to recognize in the trailer. The trailer's scenes are in Japanese with English subtitles, but it is worth remembering that the game will support Brazilian Portuguese.
We are very excited to see how the game's world, the combat mechanics shown in the trailer, the minigames, and everything else will work.
Shenmue III will be released on August 27, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and PC.
