Although much of the audience is divided over the quality of the "remake" of Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac, its apparent success with viewers led streaming service Netflix to plan to add the classic anime series to its catalog.

The information came from the Filmes Netflix blog, which lists Knights of the Zodiac (1986) as a series set to enter the service's catalog in the near future. Apparently, all 114 episodes of the franchise's classic series, broadcast in Japan between 1986 and 1989, will be made available. The sagas in question would cover the events of Sanctuary, Asgard and Poseidon. Unfortunately, nothing was said about Hades (produced more recently), but if these chapters are successful, which we believe they will be, we can bet that Netflix will find a way to make them available as well.

It is worth noting that the second season of the "remake" of Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac has already been confirmed, but, as with the classic series' launch on the service, exact availability dates have not yet been confirmed. We are now waiting for an official statement from Netflix.
